After my previous internship with Cargill, I was invited back as an Operations Engineering Intern to act as support for the Sweet Bran plant start-up in Bovina, Texas.§ Assisted the operations team on start-up of a new Sweet Bran Facility.

§ Collected quotes for various equipment and various projects for the facility.

Edison Engineering Intern§ The General Electric Healthcare Electric Avenue facility is a manufacturing and testing facility for medical equipment. I interned with the x-ray tube design team. I was tasked with programming an automated torque wrench, testing a vacuum pump used for sorting faulty equipment, and became familiarized with in-company standards including proper documentation protocols, safety standards, and engineering design specifications.
